Advantages and disadvantages of top blowing film blowing machine

There are several advantages of the top blowing film blowing machine:

1. Good film cooling effect: During the upward movement of the film bubble, the flow direction is opposite to the naturally rising hot air, forming "countercurrent cooling". Combined with the top cooling air ring, the film temperature can be quickly reduced. It is especially suitable for the production of thicker or more crystalline films (such as PE films), which can reduce crystallization time and improve production efficiency.

2. High bubble stability: The bubble is less affected by gravity when it is pulled upward, and is less likely to sag or swing. This is more conducive to controlling the uniformity of film thickness and is suitable for the production of wide-width films.

3. High utilization of operating space: The main body of the equipment is arranged vertically upward, which can save ground space, and the operator operates from the bottom, making it easy to observe the working status of key components such as the extruder and die head.

At the same time, the top blowing film blowing machine also has the following disadvantages:

1. The equipment is relatively high: it requires a higher plant space (usually 4-6 meters or more), the capital construction cost is high, and the film bubble needs to be turned to rewind after being pulled to the top, which increases the complexity of the equipment.

2. Difficulty in film traction: When the film bubble moves upward, the traction roller needs to be installed on the top, which requires high stability of the mechanical structure. It is also inconvenient to replace the winding roller or deal with broken film, affecting production continuity.
